As an accompaniment to a juicy sirloin steak I like nothing better than a good drop of full-bodied red wine. When I am eating fish in a restaurant I like to have a chilled glass of white wine sat waiting for me on the table. A decent wine can certainly compliment the meal whereas a poor quality wine could spoil the experience. I`ve often wondered what it would be like to make my own wine and I`ve even toyed with the idea of buying a Wine Making Kit in the past couple of months. If I bought a Wine Making Kit it would become my new hobby and I`d put all of my efforts into making the best wine that I possibly could. The Wine Making Kit would be ideal to get me up and running but hopefully over a period of time I could start to source my own ingredients and experiment with the contents of the wine. To start off I think I`d attempt a few bottles of Shiraz and maybe have a go at producing a batch of Pinot Noir. It must be extremely satisfying when you get it right and the wine is not only drinkable it`s also highly enjoyable at the same time.
